The purpose of this podcast is to review the clinical manifestation of anxiety and depression in patients with serious and advanced illness across the continuum of care, including assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning.

The goal of this presentation is to provide a better understanding of culture-specific factors and their impact on pain experience to guide pain assessment, and to highlight strategies for pain measurement in diverse populations with advanced medical illness.
